Over to you, the people to decide which tactica gets covered next.
Note: I have included some covered by Rich mainly beacuse of the new codexes which we are now concerned with, and the difference in out tactica styles. [mine being the list based system]
This poll will be counted Wednesday night, so vote now, vote often.

The only problem with a list based system JD is that it doesn't give a fair summation of the units in the codex, but instead simply tells people what you would choose to fit into your way of playing. Nothing wrong with that per say except that instead of a write up of the pro's and con's of a particular unit and it's battlefield value, the list is just that, a list. What I would like to see is a combination of the two. A breakdown of the units and thier abilities in relation to the armies tactical play and then a few lists (say 1500pt max) to show how the codex can be used to create different styles of forces, (i.e. infantry assualt, Air Cav, spec op's elite, armoured, swarm, etc).
That was the main weakness of both our write ups, we needed to add a bit of each others Tactica styles to complete the posts really.

Actually as you will see in my daemons tactica i cover the other units in the certain type selection as well, the list merely applies an example to the choices of a given points.

Thats exactly it, sorry, hadn't really looked at that one tbh, but now I have it's certainly going in the right direction (a bit more detail maybe, but time is a real problem generally) It's looking good as a resource for new players deciding which armies to focus on.
It might be an idae to just go back over the previous ones that are still relevent and update in the same way.

Ye I think you mean nids, which is pending a new codex anyway, so i'll have to take it down then, and ogres. All is needed is a flesh out on some of the other units.

I was thinking more of the Imperial Guard, Tau etc which have been done to a point but need example lists, or the list based tactica which needs fleshing out. I had a few folks down here finding them really useful, but I had to expand a little for them during club nights (not that I'm going anymore...felt a bit put upon and didn't get to actually play anything)

Late post, but I have loads of tactica on my blog. I can copy and paste this onto the forum no problems at all.
I have also asked Jester if he can make seperate forums for army lists and tactica
